Gerber Vise review
Ever find yourself in a situation where you need pliers? A knife? A screwdriver? Well I suggest you get a multi-tool so that next time you’ll be prepared. Some people cant afford to carry a huge and heavy multi-tool, well have no fear because I got an answer for you. I am the proud owner of the “Gerber Vise” mini keychain multi-tool which fits in my small jeans pocket and I don’t even notice the tool is there at all. I’m not saying you need to go out and get the Gerber Vise because there are plenty of small compact multi-tools but since I own this multi-tool this review will be based on that. The Vise is very small but don’t be fooled by its size, because with this small size you get some handy tools. The tools it contains are the following:
1. Small needle nose pliers
2. Wire cutters
3. Plain edge knife
4. Serrarated knife
5. Bottle opener / flat head screwdriver
6. Small head screwdriver (for eye glasses)
7. File
8. Philips head screwdriver (2D)
I have been carrying this multi-tool for a little over a month now and I can safely say that this little guy has saved my ass a few times. I have used it for various things from cutting thread sticking out of my shirt to using the pliers to pick up and item where my hands cant reach. Just because the pliers are small it does not mean that they are not useful, I can pretty much guess that people will need and find a use for pliers everyday. There is not much else I can say about this tool or about any other ones but my suggestion is that you get out and get yourself some sort of a multi-tool. A multi-tool will save the day or even save your life depending on the situation. As I always say do your research and think about what tool will help you out the most. Just have fun with choosing, I know I always do!!.
Stay safe, and stay sharp
