Getting started on youtube: Reviews

When thinking of youtube what comes to your mind? I don’t know about you but I think of gear reviews. I think reviews are the most popular thing on youtube. There are lots of categories in reviews such as: movie reviews, book reviews, game reviews, and my favorite gear review. If you think you want to become a reviewer I suggest you follow a few simple steps. One is of course choosing what king of items you want to review. Two is observation, yeah you read that right, find a youtuber that reviews similar products if not the same, and look at these techniques. Don’t think this means you’re going to copy his ideas, that’s a NO NO on youtube. You want to study from this “youtuber” and get inspired on your own way of reviewing things.

The reason reviews are so popular is because people want to know weather to buy this product or not. This is what your looking for, you want to review something that you like and thing that your opinion will influence other people’s thinking of the item. This is not an easy task. I have been a reviewer for about 4 months I believe, and results are slowly appearing. Just remember not to overdo it when it comes to the length of your video, if it is to long people will get bored instantly. Try to upload a video once every 3 or 4 days tops.

So really if you think you don’t have what it takes don’t let that discourage you because like everyone you also have an equal chance on getting popular with your videos. I may not be as popular as Cutlerylover for example but I have some fans who I love hearing from, and I believe that’s its own reward. Just believe in yourself and be creative and let your thoughts fly on camera and you will do great!
