Victorinox One-Handed Trekker Review
The Victorinox makes many great quality knives. The one that I received as a present from my girlfriend was the One-handed Trekker model. This model is great for camping, hiking, fishing, and even as an everyday carry knife. It comes with various functions such as:
- One-handed opening combo edge knife
- Wood saw
- Bottle opener with a big flathead screwdriver
- Can opener with a small flathead screwdriver
- Philips head screwdriver
- An Awl
- Toothpick
- Tweezers
There tools are the best for camping and outside work. While I was camping I used this very same model to carve out a wooden fork out of wood. Besides using it while camping I use my trekker model to cut rope, paper, boxes, and just about anything I need to. The only down side I can possibly think of is the size, the size is not the best for a tool like this, but they were aiming for this tool to be used in the outdoors. I believe it carries out its duty that Victorinox wanted perfectly. So to sum it up, this multi-tool is a high value tool which main use is helping out a fellow camper. I would recommend this model anyday, and I suggest you take a look at it if you need something a bit smaller than a fixed blade for your camping needs. I know you will not be disappointed.
Take care,
The Tactical Knife Guy
