Leatherman Freestyle
Most of you may know of Leatherman, and if you do that means you are well aware of their top-notch quality multi-tools. Leatherman has many models of multi-tools for different purposes but I would like to talk about a specific model that most people leave out of their personal multi-tool of choice. That’s right it’s the Leatherman Freestyle, which also has a twin brother the Freestyle CX which was minor differences. The Freestyle is very minimalistic, which in my case is a good thing because these tools are the ones I need the most. The tools it contains are:
1. 420HC stainless steel Blade (combo-edge)
2. Pliers (needlenose, regular, wirecutters, hard wirecutters)
You read that correctly, there are only 2 tools on this tools. Most people consider this a stupid idea, but infact this is a GREAT idea. The knife is a tool that everyone needs on a daily basis, and pliers also come in handy from time to time, so Leatherman took this into consideration and made a tool that people will buy because of its uniqueness. I carry this tool everyday mainly because of the knife, and the pliers are just an added bonus!. This tool is not very expensive and the next time you pass by it by any chance just think for a second is this a tool that I will use, and I’m sure your answer will be “HELL YEAH”. This tools is not only a tool you will use for edc (everyday carry) tasks but I believe this tool could tackle any task that you give it out in the woods. I hope this short review made you rethink the option that Leatherman made for everyone. If you’re not convinced than I think you should buy it and find out for yourself!!!.
Be safe, and stay sharp
